How can I place an order?

1. Select the products you want;

2. Add the selected product to the cart;

3. Check cart summary;

4. Proceed to checkout by entering the data useful for shipping;

5. Select the payment method;

6. Confirm your order.

After completing the steps, you will receive a summary of your order to the email address you provided when entering the data.

What are the payment methods?

At the moment the available payment method is by credit card.

How does the subscription system work?

By purchasing our monthly snack box you will proceed with a subscription
in which you will receive a different assortment of Japanese snacks every month.

The subscription provides for automatic renewal at the end of the period which
for all is expected on the 14th of the month. Your payment details are saved
(and encrypted so we do not have access to them) and you are automatically charged
the set monthly fee.

Subsequently, on the following days  on the 14th of the month, the Snack boxes are sent to
all at the same time.

The renewal can be canceled at any time from your
customer area or by sending us an email from the contact area and must be made
within 24 hours prior to the 14th of the month.

Cancellation does not give the right to any refund of the
subscription fees already paid.

How can I cancel a subscription?

Cancellation of the subscription must take place within 24 hours of the next renewal day which is the 14th of the month for all.

 To cancel your subscription you must:

1) create an account by entering your name, surname and the e-mail address that was used to place the order. To create an account, click here;

2) access your customer page where all orders placed and the "subscription management" button will be displayed. To access click here;

3) click on the "subscription management" button and you will see your current subscriptions displayed
.

4) click on the subscription you want to cancel;

5) once the subscription page has loaded, click on the "cencel subscription" button at the bottom left;

6) wait for the email notification of the cancellation.

Alternatively, you can send a email with the cancellation request, using the email address with which the order was placed and indicating the  order number (which you find in the order confirmation email) and your personal data (name, surname and shipping address).

The request must be sent to the following address dagashi.from.japan@hotmail.com
and must contain the wording "Cancellation of Subscription plus the order number" as the subject.

In any case, the cancellation of the subscription does not give the right to a refund of the fees already paid.

Can I choose the snacks to put in the snack box myself?

At the moment, the method of autonomous choice of snacks is not foreseen but we plan to make it available in the future.

Will I have to pay customs duties upon receipt of the package?

Upon receipt of the package, there may be additional customs costs, as, since July 2021, the European Union has decided to apply VAT on purchases of modest value made outside the Union. Our shop has no control over the application of these duties and the recipient alone is responsible for paying the requested amount. These costs cannot be reimbursed by us under any circumstances.

If I have food allergies can I proceed with the order?

On the website, in the description of the snacks, under the heading allergens, there is a list of allergens shown on the packaging. If necessary, you can contact us before shipping, to inform us of your allergens, so that we can replace the snacks.

Are there any shipping costs?

For our snack boxes, the shipping costs are included in the purchase price displayed at the time of the order, no further costs will be charged.

When will I receive my Okashi Box?

All snack boxes are sent within 2 working days from the order and with delivery times ranging from 10 to 20 working days
